Hi Sean If the extraction and insertion spec of DC JACK is 3N~30N, this DC jack cannot apply to Eagle board. How about changing to other DC jack which meet SKB's criteria. |

Hi SB, For second time solution by vendor, the test results are still fail. 3 pcs are pass of 5 samples, 2 pcs are fail. We talked with vendor about the improvement, this strucutre seems to approach limitation and cannot further improve. Vendor suggests us to change new structures for DC Jack extraction force issue due to the currently structure is single metal spring in DC Jack. Please refer to attached picture and second time test report. Hi Sheila, Sean. I cannot make my dicision, because there is no test report of new structure. 1. Is the new structure of DC jack perfectly pass? 2. How much does the cost up exactly? and this agenda should not be discussed with SKB. because the FXN/ALT cannot meet the SBK's spec. we should solve this problem each other |

Hi SB, currently our vendor is evaluating the new solution. I've discussed with them and it seems they need more time to simulate. Therefore, the updated target date is 4/22 that FXN provides the quotation on this matter (Tiffanie will quote to Emma directly). |

Hi SB, Yes, the second time improvement DC Jack still cannot meet to 1.4kgf, while the original structure had approached to limitation. So we require vendor to fix new structure to meet 1.4kgf. We will update new design structure and spec later when vendor provides the corresponding reports. Thank you. |
